The Portuguese Society for Analytic
Philosophy was created in September 2004 with the aim of promoting
philosophy as practiced in the analytic tradition in Portugal, and
contributing to the greater involvement of the Portuguese community
working in the analytic tradition in the international philosophical
community.
One Graduate Workshop for Analytic Philosophy is organized every year and once every three years takes place the National Meeting for Analytic Philosophy. The SPFA is member of the European Society for Analytic Philosophy.
SPFA supports the Latin Meeting for Analytic Philosophy.
